The Atlantic City Regional Chamber of Commerce commissioned the report concerning the casinos activity. The report was funded by Casino Association of New Jersey. According to that 85-page document, the Gov. James E. McGreevey’s bill concerning the gambling would influence negatively the budget of the New Jersey if the document was accepted. Michael Pollock’s Gaming Industry Observer noticed, thanks to the report, that the bill would cause the lost of many jobs – more or less 12,000 (including the casino jobs and non-casino ones). Casino workers threaten strike action in Atlantic City

Atlantic City casinos will have to face the strikes of the stuff. The union members were voting on the beginning of the strike. The vast majority of the members of the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union were in favour of the quick start of the action. There were 17,000 people who took part in the vote. There will be 11 casinos which will take part in the strike (if the strike really takes place).
